Job Overview

Stagecoach Dumfries Depot is looking for an experienced coach driver to join our team at our Charles Street depot. The role involves driving coaches on the X74 service between Glasgow and Dumfries.

• Drive coaches safely and smoothly with confidence.
• Ensure every customer has a great journey and deliver top‑notch customer service.
• Create a welcoming environment for all passengers, especially those who rely on the service most.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Held a PCV licence for longer than one year.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
• Positive, friendly attitude and passion for customer service.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.

• Coaching experience.

• Annual earnings between £29,913 based on a 39‑hour week.
• Pay rate during training: £14.75 per hour.
• Ongoing training with CPC renewal costs covered.
