As a Visitor Experience & Retail Assistant
, you will create memorable and enjoyable brewery experiences for every visitor while supporting the smooth operation of the Belhaven Brewery site and shop. Your day‑to‑day will involve welcoming guests, delivering engaging tours, maintaining retail and cellar standards, and ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently. You’ll play a key role in supporting your team by working collaboratively across departments and contributing to an exceptional visitor offering.

Every Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

• Deliver an outstanding visitor experience through meet & greet, guided tours, and storytelling.
• Support retail operations including sales, merchandising, and accurate cash handling.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and cellar upkeep (including weekly line cleaning).
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed and visitors are briefed appropriately.
• Assist with events, promotions, and general site operations as required.

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing role, ideally within retail, hospitality, or tourism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming approach.
• Confidence handling cash, using tills/EPOS systems, and delivering sales.
• Ability to work flexibly, prioritise tasks, and adapt to different duties.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and support the wider team.
