Position: Accountant for Marine Infrastructure Projects
Step into a challenging role as an Accountant at Pacific Industrial & Marine, specializing in marine infrastructure projects. This full-cycle accounting position requires expertise and offers a hybrid work schedule.

You will play a crucial role in financial management by overseeing all accounting activities from accounts payable to payroll and reconciliations. Collaborate closely with management, providing essential financial insights and assisting with audits and compliance filings. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the accuracy of all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete accounting cycles, including journal entries

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing and statement preparation

• Maintain job costing records and project financial tracking

• Conduct reconciliations, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger

• File tax compliance documents and assist with auditing processes

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA is an asset

• Familiarity with Sage, Quick Books, or similar ERP tools

• Strong Excel and MS Office skills

• Well-organized with strong communication abilities
