Construction Project Safety Coordinator

Shape the future of construction at Pacific Industrial & Marine as a Construction Project Safety Coordinator. This contract position focuses on coordination and safety during the active ferry terminal project.

In this challenging role, your primary responsibility will be coordinating project activities and supporting site safety initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, you will oversee documentation, ensure safety compliance, and engage with various stakeholders including BC Ferries. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily project construction tasks with the team

• Maintain project documentation such as schedules and RFIs

• Oversee safety inspections and incident investigations

• Lead safety orientations and compliance reporting

• Communicate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors

Requirements:

• Prior experience in construction project coordination

• Interest in safety officer responsibilities

• OFA Level 3 First Aid certification preferred

• Strong communication and organization abilities

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
