Teach French and Physical Education at Sunrise Waldorf School as a Subject Teacher for grades 1-8. Engage students in a supportive and artistic learning environment.

Located in Cowichan Valley near Duncan, BC, Sunrise Waldorf School is seeking a dynamic Subject Teacher for the  school year. Candidates should have a passion for fostering a nurturing atmosphere through engaging lessons in both French and Physical Education. A background in Waldorf education will enhance your ability to connect with students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver engaging lessons in French and PHE

• Conduct assessment and documentation of student learning

• Establish warm and respectful classroom dynamics

• Communicate openly with parents and caregivers

• Join faculty meetings and school development initiatives

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate or independent school eligibility

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent experience

• Teaching experience in French and/or PHE

• Fluency in French, both oral and written

• Strong classroom management and engagement skills
