Position: Instructor for Medical Device Reprocessing Program
Join Vancouver Island University's Faculty of Health Sciences as an Instructor in the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician program. Deliver online and on-site learning experiences that impact student success.
You'll be responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching the practicum section of the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician curriculum. Use innovative teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and assist students in their educational journey. Successful candidates will work closely with faculty and industry partners to enhance the program's impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and instruct the practicum component effectively

• Employ adult learning strategies in course delivery

• Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes

• Maintain accurate records of student grades

• Support collaboration with colleagues and industry partners
Requirements:

• Medical Device Reprocessing Technician credential or equivalent

• 5 years of current hospital experience

• Experience teaching adult learners

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Familiarity with current relevant technologies
