Position: Waldorf Lead Class Teacher Role

Sunrise Waldorf School seeks a passionate educator dedicated to fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom. You will work with the Waldorf and BC Ministry of Education curricula while supporting students from diverse backgrounds. Collaborate with parents and participate in enriching community events to enhance the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive annual, unit, and lesson plans

• Maintain and develop IEPs for diverse learners

• Prepare and organize classroom materials effectively

• Actively engage parents through communication and meetings

• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and after school

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and B.C. Teaching Certificate

• Previous experience in a Waldorf educational setting

• Effective classroom management and student support skills

• Commitment to fostering diversity and equity in education

• Ongoing interest in professional development
