Queen of Angels School is seeking an Educational Assistant to enhance classroom experiences for children. Candidates with a Certified Educational Assistant certificate, Applied Behaviour Analysis, and autism training are preferred. Your commitment to fostering safe, positive environments and managing challenging behaviors is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in providing classroom and individual student support
• Foster a safe and positive learning environment
• Work with students with challenging behaviors
• Communicate effectively with staff and administration
• Maintain confidentiality in all interactions
Requirements:
• Certified Educational Assistant (CEA) or equivalent certification
• Experience with autism and challenging behaviors
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical ability to engage actively with students
