Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a thriving online learning community offering K-12 home and online education to students across the province.

Education Assistant – 2026-27 school year. This is a part‑time contract position that may grow in hours over the course of the school year, depending on student needs and EA skillsets.

• Location: Duncan, BC
• Grades: 10-12
• Schedule: Flexible during school hours
• Hours: 12-24 hours per week

• Supporting the social, spiritual and academic learning needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person
• Connecting with students individually or in small groups
• Collaborating with the teaching staff and the parent to support personalized learning opportunities
• Assisting in carrying out IEP goals, working alongside the broader student support team

• Background working in Education, EA Support, Behaviour Intervention, or with children/youth
• Professionals with non‑EA specific credentials (e.g., psychology, behaviour analysis, social work, coaching, mathematics) are encouraged to apply
• Valid Certified Educational Assistant certificate (or training in process) is considered an asset
• Subject matter knowledge in the applicable grade levels or willingness to learn

• Competitive Wage: $23.97–$28.13 hourly depending on certification and experience
• Contractor model
