Join Heritage Christian Online School as an Education Assistant in Duncan, BC for the 2026-27 school year. This flexible part-time role supports students' holistic learning in grades 10-12.

This contract position ranges from 12 to 24 hours weekly, adapting based on student requirements and individual skills. You will provide mentorship in academic, social, and spiritual growth, connecting with students in various settings. Collaboration with teaching staff and families will enhance personalized learning and you’ll assist in executing student IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, socially, and spiritually

• Connect with students individually and in small groups

• Collaborate with staff to support personalized education

• Facilitate IEP goals implementation with the support team

• Promote a creative and encouraging learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Experience in Education or related fields

• Educational Assistant certification is advantageous

• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills

• Capacity for innovative and adaptable teaching methods
