Queen of Angels School seeks an Educational Assistant dedicated to fostering student success in a caring environment. Candidates with a Certified Educational Assistant certificate, experience in ABA, and autism training will be prioritized.
Your role involves constructive interaction with students, promoting safety, and addressing behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate classroom activities and support learner engagement
• Assist with behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with staff to provide a positive learning environment
• Maintain confidentiality in student interactions
• Communicate clearly with students and colleagues
Requirements:
• Certified Educational Assistant certification or equivalent
• Experience with challenging behaviors and autism preferred
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of active involvement with students
