Become a key part of Long & McQuade as a Guitar Lessons Teacher in Duncan, BC.

This role offers flexibility with weekday, weeknight, and weekend availability for independent contractors.

As a Guitar Lessons Teacher, your primary focus will be to provide engaging music instruction at Long & McQuade's Lesson Centre. We seek passionate instructors with a music degree or equivalent experience. You will work with students of all ages, employing standard teaching methods and curricula tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach guitar lessons to students of various ages

• Develop and execute lesson plans based on curriculum standards

• Assess student progress and provide feedback regularly

• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles

• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Previous teaching experience with diverse age groups

• Strong knowledge of teaching methods and lesson structure

• Ability to work as an independent contractor
