Independent Guitar Teacher at Long & McQuade

Join Long & McQuade in Duncan, BC as an Independent Guitar Teacher, offering flexible lessons across weekdays and weekends. Engage students with your expertise in guitar instruction as an independent contractor.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality guitar lessons at our on-site Lesson Centre. We are looking for candidates with a solid musical background and previous teaching experience in a group or one-on-one setting. Your responsibility will be to guide students of all ages through a structured curriculum that fosters their growth and passion for music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging guitar lessons tailored to each student

• Utilize lesson plans adhering to established curriculum

• Track and evaluate student progress consistently

• Customize teaching approaches for diverse learning styles

• Foster an uplifting and supportive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• Recognized music degree or diploma preferred

• Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Experience teaching students of various ages

• Familiarity with standard teaching techniques

• Availability to work independently on a contract basis
