Enhance mathematical skills for Junior School students at Queen Margaret's School in Duncan, BC. This part-time role caters to students through one-on-one or small group tutoring.
Queen Margaret's School is looking for Math Tutors who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic to support students in Grades 6 and 7. The ideal candidates will have strong foundational math skills and the ability to clearly explain concepts. Aiming to boost student confidence and proficiency, tutors will adapt their approaches to individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored mathematics tutoring to students
• Support foundational math skills and problem-solving
• Adapt teaching methods to fit individual needs
• Assist with understanding classroom concepts and assignments
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of mathematics at the Grades 6-7 level
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset
