Nurse Informaticist at Island Health

Island Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Informaticist to lead clinical change initiatives. You will improve workflows by promoting the use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Collaborating with clinicians and operational leaders, you'll drive efficiency and quality in patient care while participating in operational readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead onsite clinical workstation validation and testing

• Collaborate with clinical and technical teams for system enhancements

• Support quality assurance and quality control activities

• Facilitate user group engagement sessions

• Oversee project-related clinical change management efforts

Requirements:

• RN registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

• 3 years' experience in healthcare informatics

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
