Position Details
Location:
Chemainus, BC V0R 1K0
Wage: $38.50 per hour
Hours:
30 to 40 hours per week
Job type:
Permanent, full-time
Schedule:
Early morning, evening, shift, flexible hours, night and weekends
Start date:
As soon as possible
Work location:
On site in the employer’s home
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Feed or assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Experience supporting persons with physical disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Bending, crouching and kneeling
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work under pressure
