The CVRD seeks a motivated individual to contribute to its Utilities Division as a Utilities Operator I. This entry-level role requires a Diploma in Water/Wastewater Management and one year of cooperative experience. Candidates will focus on the safe and effective management of water distribution and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater systems

• Conduct routine checks and maintenance tasks

• Collaborate with senior operators in daily operations

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Assist in the management of drainage and street lighting systems

Requirements:

• Diploma in Water/Wastewater Management

• Level I Certification from EOCP or equivalent

• One year co-op experience in municipal settings

• Must possess Level I First Aid Certificate

• Valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ License
