Renal Registered Nurse Community Dialysis Ladysmith

Enhance patient care at Duncan Community Dialysis (DCDF) as a Registered Nurse specializing in renal services. This part‑time role focuses on hemodialysis treatment and patient engagement.

You’ll work under the guidance of the Manager of Renal Services to provide nursing care to patients experiencing chronic and acute renal failure. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your role includes assessing patient needs and building therapeutic relationships to support informed self‑care choices for patients and families. Your expertise will contribute to our shared commitment to continuous quality improvement.

• Provide nursing care for hemodialysis patients
• Build supportive relationships with patients and families
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary health teams
• Prioritize and manage nursing responsibilities
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs

• Valid RN registration with BC College of Nurses
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Recent experience in hemodialysis or equivalent training
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Ability to perform nursing duties physically
