RN​/RPN Mentor in Clinical Practice

In this vital role, the Clinical Mentor will report to a Manager in Professional Practice & Learning, playing a crucial part in empowering nursing staff through hands-on mentorship and guidance. Your ability to teach and facilitate nursing practices will directly impact the quality of care provided to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a clinical resource for nursing staff

• Provide hands-on mentorship in designated practice areas

• Facilitate training sessions and support staff development

• Collaborate with educators to strengthen clinical practices

• Direct efforts toward quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse certification

• At least three years of related nursing experience

• Leadership training or an equivalent combination of education

• Access to a personal vehicle may be necessary

• Strong organizational and planning skills
