Security and Loss Prevention Associate

Real Canadian Superstore is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Associate in Duncan, BC to protect store assets and enhance customer safety. This role focuses on minimizing shrink and facilitating a secure shopping environment.

As part of a leading Asset Protection team, you will investigate theft activities, prepare evidence for court, and coach employees on protocols. Engage with local law enforcement and lead audits to uphold compliance throughout operations. Your contributions will direct the success of the store's security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apprehend and deter theft within the store

• Investigate theft and prepare evidence for proceedings

• Engage regularly with police for security updates

• Coach employees on Asset Protection best practices

• Participate in conducting compliance audits

Requirements:

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License required

• Knowledge of relevant retail laws and security systems

• Approachable and professional at all times

• High initiative and integrity needed

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
