Drive single axle trucks with the Cowichan Valley Regional District as a casual Truck Driver specializing in glass recycling. Work flexible shifts to support efficient recycling operations.

The Recycling & Waste Management Division is seeking a casual Truck Driver-Glass to assist in the collection and hauling of glass materials. Reporting to the Solid Waste Logistics Superintendent, you'll ensure successful operation of the CVRD facilities.

Your role includes driving commercial trucks, adhering to schedules, and supporting curbside operations when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate single axle trucks for glass collection

• Adhere to scheduled routes and operational needs

• Support curbside and roll-off truck drivers

• Maintain professional customer relations

• Ensure safe and efficient recycling operations

Requirements:

• Secondary School graduation or equivalent

• Class 3 BC Driver’s License with air endorsement

• Experience driving commercial trucks professionally

• Basic First Aid certification

• Skills in conflict management and customer service
