Sr Power Systems Engineer

Electrical Engineer with high power system engineering experience in oil and gas, marine, heavy machinery industry. 10+ years R&D, multidisciplinary teams across locations. Design complex systems solutions across disciplines for Oil & Gas, mining, aerospace. Lead design, implementation, commissioning of HV, MV, LV (AC/DC) power systems. Design solutions for subsea applications, well control, well intervention. Mentor junior engineers. Define requirements, review third‑party proposals.
Knowledge of vessel structure, risk assessment, FMEA, reliability tools. Power distribution, protection, control systems. Design principles, codes & standards for EIC design in Canada & US. Proficiency with ETAP, SKM Power Tools. Advanced design, simulation, development, verification, validation of power electronic based systems. Troubleshoot power electronics, lab equipment. Communication systems. Electronic circuit design, simulation, math tools for embedded systems in harsh environments.
Power systems demands (batteries, recharge, management, shut down).
Qualifications:
Master’s or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
