This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNight shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend requirements:
Every other weekend.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment, ensuring a safe and effective treatment for patients of all ages. The nurse must manage patient care efficiently, communicate with all relevant departments, and adhere to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency and urgent care to patients in a timely manner.
- Perform assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain effective communication.
- Assist in emergency procedures and interventions as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an ER Nurse.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience with charge duties and patient ratios in emergency settings preferred.
- State licensure (compact license accepted).
