Part-time positions are available for our after-school staff we call our Educators!
Locations: located inside the Duncanville Schools
Schedule/
Hours:
Must be available every day, Monday through Friday After-School program, 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm (may vary slightly depending on location)
Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma/GED
Pay Rates: $15 - $17 per hour (depending on years of experience and education in the related field)
Responsibilities- Daily Program Meetings:
Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability. - Organize and Facilitate Daily
Activities:
Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages. - Leading by Example:
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. - Prioritize Safety and Joy:
Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and other observations. - Communication:
Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- High Diploma/GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Six months of childcare experience in a group or school-type setting
- Available to work the part-time shift Monday through Friday
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a group licensed childcare/school setting (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Proof of High School diploma/GED required
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
- Works well in a team environment
- At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group type setting
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

Right Fit For This Role- High school diploma or GED completed
- Coursework or training in child development and/or related field is a PLUS
- Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB
