Overview
Our office, Metroplex Endodontics & Microsurgery - Duncanville, is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice. This position supports the Dentist and helps create a world-class specialty experience for every patient. You may be based in Mansfield and will travel to the Duncanville location as needed.
Your Responsibilities- Welcoming patients to the dental office
- Preparing patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
- Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
- Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Scheduling appointments and post-op visits
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with payment procedures
- Must be able to travel to the Mansfield location as needed
As an essential member of the office, you will also help facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
Your BackgroundYou are a resourceful dental assistant who enjoys helping patients receive the experience they deserve and helping the Dentist provide it. You are a kind, passionate, collaborative problem-solver who can adapt to shifting priorities and values making a meaningful impact.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a dental assistant; specialty experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma
- Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
- Active state radiology license (if required by law)

Position DetailsPosition Base Pay Range: $18.50 - $24 USD
