Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.
OverviewPart-time positions available for our after-school staff we call our Educators. Locations are inside the Duncanville Schools.
Schedule / HoursMust be available every day, Monday through Friday, for the after-school program from 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm (may vary slightly depending on location).
Pay$15–$17 per hour, depending on years of experience and education in a related field.
Responsibilities- Daily program meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
- Organize and facilitate daily activities: prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
- Prioritize safety and joy: monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Six months of childcare experience in a group or school-type setting, or at least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group type setting.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
- First Aid & CPR – in person or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Cleared tuberculosis test – availability within 30 days of employment.
- State‑specific requirements (e.g., mandated reporter).
