Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Duncanville.
The Restaurant/Banquet Supervisor oversees the front-of-house restaurant and banquet department of the hotel, ensuring labor and quality standards are upheld, providing a positive work environment, delivering exceptional guest service, and administering company and hotel brand policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operational activities of the department.
- Maintain personal connections with guests, clients, and community organizations to encourage guest loyalty.
- Supervise restaurant/banquet team members with recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, performance management, counseling, and other team member relations issues.
- Maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform any position in the department.
- Assist with maintaining product and service quality standards by investigating issues and initiating corrective action.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, storing, and inventory management of department-related products.
- Assist with monitoring and upholding procedures for control of supplies, keys, money and credit.
- Ensure department reporting is completed promptly and accurately.
- Assist in monitoring and upholding procedures for safety of guests and hotel team members.
- Remains current on industry trends and local market activities.
- Assist team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining clean lines throughout the department.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
- Strong leadership and a professional image.
- Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner.
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
