Accounts Receivable Associate

Salary Range

$22.00 - $30.00 Hourly

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reconcile cash, checks, and credit card receipts; scan checks to bank and make daily deposits.
• Handle customer account profiles, customer restrictions, cash settlements, new vendor information forms, W-9’s, and customer sales tax.
• Process commercial credit applications.
• Responsible for postage machine and outgoing mail
• Retrieve and distribute incoming mail.
• Process incoming checks and post payments to customer accounts.
• Call customers for over payments, underpayments, or incomplete information, including correct mail addresses when emails are returned, and regular mail when returned.
• Set-up consumer Web access.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and faxes from customers.
• Reconcile petty cash.
• File bankruptcy claims
• Set up customer web access accounts for online accounts.
• Email bank information on NSF checks and ACH payments.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
