Class Description
The purpose of this class is to provide leadership and oversee the planning, direction, control and evaluation of all work associated with Purchasing.
Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and Five (
5) years of progressive experience in Purchasing and/or Contract Management or master's degree and three (3) years' experience in Purchasing and/ or Contract Management, preferably in Higher Education, including two years in a supervisory capacity. Certified Professional Public Buyer (CCPB), or Certified Professional Purchasing Officer (CPPO) certification preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with computers and Microsoft software/applications required.
