• Seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to provide comprehensive cloud software research, development, and engineering support for mission‑critical applications operating in large-scale distributed environments
• This role supports the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system design through development, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and long‑term enhancement
• The Software Engineer will work on complex cloud applications and distributed computing platforms designed to process and analyze very large data sets
• The ideal candidate brings deep software engineering experience, strong technical leadership, and the ability to design scalable, high‑performance solutions in secure mission environments

• Software Design and Development
• • Perform end‑to‑end software engineering activities including requirements analysis, design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis and resolution
  • Design and develop scalable software solutions supporting large-scale distributed and cloud computing environments
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and implement sustainable software enhancements that improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Design and implement solutions using massively parallel computation models and No

  • Develop and extend Free and Open‑Source Software (FOSS) and Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) products to meet mission and project requirements
  • Perform object‑oriented analysis and design for complex software systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ontologies, schemas, data models, and interface specifications
• Integration, Testing, and Deployment
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, system, and end‑to‑end tests
  • Develop and implement test plans, test scripts, and validation procedures
  • Integrate software components, data services, databases, and external technologies within distributed environments
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Deploy and sustain software applications in production environments
  • Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational issue resolution
  • Participate in software and architecture reviews to ensure solutions meet technical, security, scalability, and mission requirements
• Collaboration and Technical Leadership
