A growing accountancy practice in Dundee is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to support the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services across a varied client portfolio.
This role is ideal for a practice-trained auditor who enjoys leading audits, working directly with clients and supporting the development of junior team members. You’ll work closely with Managers and Partners, gaining exposure to a wide range of sectors and audit assignments, with clear scope for progression within public practice.

As Audit Senior, you’ll take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion while supporting audit quality and team development.
Key Responsibilities- Leading external audit assignments from planning to completion
- Preparing and reviewing audit files in line with UK auditing standards
- Acting as the main point of contact on site for audit clients
- Supervising and supporting junior audit team members
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation where required
- Managing deadlines and ensuring audits are delivered efficiently
- Supporting Managers with workflow and client delivery
- Maintaining high technical and compliance standards
This role is ideal for:
- An experienced Audit Senior within a UK accountancy practice
- A confident Audit Semi Senior ready to step up
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Have experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Have a strong background in external audit
- Be confident leading audits and supervising team members
- Have strong communication and client‑facing skills
- Be organised, reliable and deadline focused
- Be keen to progress your career within audit
