Reporting Accountant

Reporting Accountant / Warrington (Hybrid) / Salary competitive  excellent benefits Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing international organisation in the recruitment of a Qualified Reporting Accountant to join their established finance team based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a large, complex business environment. The role offers exposure to external reporting, statutory compliance, audit processes and technical accounting, whilst working alongside a supportive and collaborative finance function.

The Role As a Qualified Reporting Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial reporting activities across the business. Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting group and statutory audit processes, including preparing audit information and responding to auditor queries Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns Preparing monthly regulatory and statistical reporting requirements Supporting external reporting activities and ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines Assisting with technical accounting and financial reporting queries Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business Supporting process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects as required Mentoring and sharing knowledge with junior team members About You We're keen to speak with qualified accountants who enjoy working in a technical reporting environment and are looking for a varied role with excellent development opportunities.

You will ideally have: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification

Experience with in financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation or financial accounting Previous involvement with internal and/or external audit processes Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships A proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities What's on Offer?
