Job Description Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House (50 North Lindsay Street, Dundee) office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities You will support the Procurement team to deliver non-regulated procurement activity including sourcing arrangements, in conjunction with Procurement Assistants. Contribute to the collation of the data for the Corporate Procurement Strategy and Annual Procurement report.

The Procurement Officer will provide competent procurement support and advice to stakeholders throughout Dundee City Council, in line with the Council’s Contract Standing Orders.

The Individual You will have administrative or other relevant professional experience with experienced use of Microsoft 365 packages (or equivalent) - i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.

Proven ability to generate and present management information using IT systems is also essential.

You will have excellent organisational skills, with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, and ability to apply a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work. xekaoyc

You will also have the ability to identify problems and apply logical and creative thinking to develop effective solutions, you will be proficient in handling and maintaining detailed financial or statistical data, and have proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight and conflicting deadlines.
