Sandwell Council’s Income and Money Advice Service is recruiting to the post of Accounts Officer to support its Home Ownership Service (Right to Buy and Leasehold).
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to assist the Home Ownership Service to process Right to Buy applications, anti-money laundering forms, leasehold arrears and leasehold management. Ensuring our customers and partners receive a highly professional service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and continuous performance.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
- Flexibility, reliability and ability to work in an office environment
- Knowledge in Right to Buy and Leasehold Legislation
- Excellent skills in Microsoft software, in particular Excel spreadsheets
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Be organised, and meet strict deadlines
- Experience of electronic management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Based at Oldbury Council House, hybrid working, with at least 3 days per week in the office.
