Based in our Business Services Team, the Procurement Officer will play a key role in Hillcrest’s buying and contracting activities. Operating across a multi-site environment, the role will help ensure Hillcrest delivers high quality services and achieves value for money in all areas of procurement. the Role

This is a varied and interesting role which will require the successful applicant to work closely with other key staff throughout Hillcrest, its supply chain and partner organisations. As part of a small team, you will support lead officers with all aspects of procurement including compliantly running tender activities. As well as monitoring and managing supplier cost, service, and quality performance, you will help identify social value benefits and be instrumental in embedding sustainable procurement practices across the business.

About

You

You should be a procurement or corporate professional with appropriate qualifications or relevant experience, as outlined in role profile. You should have an in-depth understanding of public sector procurement practices, governing legislation, and commissioning frameworks. Previous experience within the property development sector would also be advantageous. A solution-focused, skilled communicator, with strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels is what we are looking for.
