Project Manager – Capital Investment

Location:

Link’s Falkirk Office

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

Salary: £54,002.00 - £67,651.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of planned investment programmes across occupied housing stock, from survey, feasibility and specification through procurement, mobilisation, contract delivery, handover and post‑completion review.
  • Manage component renewal programmes and cyclical maintenance activity, ensuring works are delivered safely, commercially, to programme and to the required quality standard.
  • Work closely with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors and residents, balancing technical delivery with strong customer care and clear communication.
  • Coordinate budget control, procurement, contract administration and contractor management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong construction‑sector background, ideally in building surveying, quantity surveying, construction project management or a similar technical/commercial role.
  • Degree level education or equivalent construction‑related experience, with technical qualifications in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership with RICS, CIOB or APM welcomed.
  • Proven experience delivering capital, major works or planned investment projects across the full lifecycle.
  • Strong construction project delivery experience combined with commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex stakeholders.
  • Experience in social housing, property maintenance, occupied buildings or asset investment beneficial.
  • Organised, confident under delegated authority and able to manage time‑sensitive workloads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, good numeracy, strong report‑writing ability and confidence using Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
