Overview

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator position based in Somerset (commutable from Bristol and surrounding areas). Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE (£769 - £962 per week).

This role is for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety professional to advance your career within a dynamic and fast-paced project environment. You will join a growing project delivery team working on major construction and engineering projects, helping maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance. You will work alongside site management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of safety and environmental management.

• Support the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and workplace observations.
• Assist with risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Promote a positive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors.

• Relevant Health & Safety or Environmental qualification.
• Previous experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
