Site Engineer

This role is to assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in project delivery and site engineering/setting out, ensuring safe delivery of the project to time, cost and quality requirements. The ability and willingness to travel around the country is required, project locations with 20+ access points for substation enhancement/upgrades around Dundee.

• Setting out, surveying and quality assurance of all site works in line with drawings and specifications
• Management and coordination of subcontractors and site activities to meet programme targets
• Preparation and review of ITPs, RAMS and as-built records in line with company IMS procedures
• Daily progress reporting, site documentation and liaison with Project/Construction Manager
• Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards, permits and safe systems of work at all times

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects (ideally infrastructure / structures)
• Strong setting out and surveying capability with relevant equipment/software
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities to programme
• Good understanding of QA processes (ITPs, inspections, as-builts) and HSEQ compliance
• Ability to mobilise quickly and operate independently with minimal supervision
