The Property Department of NHS Tayside is looking to recruit a Construction Supervisor / Service Co-ordinator.
This post will be responsible for successfully delivering a wide range of projects from minor works to large scale refurbishment and new build construction projects. Project design, construction and management methods will follow current Scottish Executive guidelines, on behalf of NHS Tayside. Projects include business continuity works major capital investments, and other initiatives some of which may involve private finance backed procurement vehicles.
The post holder will form part of the New Works team in delivering projects under their remit and supporting colleagues in the coordination and delivery of major projects. They will have responsibility for ensuring appropriate and robust project design, supervision and commissioning of projects within standard NHS governance arrangements.
This post offers a unique opportunity to deliver significant Healthcare Construction/Engineering projects whilst contributing to the Property Department performance and reputation, both within the organisation and in the wider NHS arena.
The successful candidates will have the ability to demonstrate post qualifying experience in construction management. You will need to have demonstrable knowledge of a range of specific project areas, acquired through experience and training.
The post holder will report directly to the Head of New Works.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
