Fixed Term for 12 months from August 2026
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Physician in Vascular Surgery for a period of 12 months commencing 5th August 2026 in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The appointee(s) will be expected to perform at a level equivalent to that of ST1 or above. They will be supervised by a consultant at all times.
The post is based in Ninewells Hospital and will involve exposure complex, multi-comorbid patients under the care of vascular surgery. The successful applicant will participate in daily ward rounds and there may be opportunity to participate in acute medical receiving on an ad-hoc basis to be agreed with AMU. In addition, the successful applicant will participate in out-patient clinics and co-ordinating support and medical management of vascular surgery in-patients peri-operative care.
Educationand Supervision
A clinical educational programme for the fellow will be established tailored to their individual requirements. Personal development plan and educational agreements will be documented. An assigned educational supervisor will be nominated. Further, opportunities exist for the successful applicant to take part in both research and quality improvement projects while working in the department.

The post holder must (at the time of commencement of employment) have full registration with the GMC and a license to practice.
