Freelance Music Tutor – Dundee & Arbroath

Music Collective Scotland is expanding and we’re looking to welcome additional freelance, self‑employed music tutors to our teaching team.

• Dundee
• Arbroath

Freelance / self‑employed – Primary 1‑1 tuition with potential for small group work, weekdays and/or Saturdays, term‑time teaching model.

• Experienced instrumental or vocal tutors
• Confident working with children and young people
• Professional, reliable and organised
• Comfortable working independently within a supportive studio structure
• Willingness to obtain a PVG (or similar) if required

• Established studio with consistent demand
• Steady timetables and predictable income within a term‑time model
• Protection through centralised studio policies
• CPD opportunities and in‑house training
• Full exam administration and exam preparation support
• Support, including syllabus guidance and entry management
• Accompanist available when required
• Centralised administration, marketing and enquiries handled by the studio
• Teaching in fully equipped studios
• Invoice the company directly and be paid by Music Collective Scotland (not by parents)
• Supportive, professional team environment
• Employable on a freelance basis
• Competitive hourly rate (discussed at interview)
• Paid weekly, monthly or termly on invoice
