A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Radstock is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. The school is committed to providing high-quality, tailored support while ensuring pupils remain fully included in mainstream education.
Responsibilities- In this role, you will work with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils both in and out of the classroom.
- This may include providing 1:1 support or working with small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum, develop emotional regulation strategies, and build confidence and independence.

- £85 – £95 per day
- Full-Time – Term Time Only
- DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils in a mainstream setting
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment
