Teaching Assistant - Temporary

Overview

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is an excellent school with a vibrant, supportive and friendly school community. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is dedicated to supporting children in their learning and is sympathetic to our Catholic values.

• Work 8.30am – 12.30pm five days a week, totalling 20 hours per week.
• Provide assistance to staff and support to students in classroom settings.
• Work with small groups and individuals to deliver educational interventions.
• Carry out a 30‑minute lunchtime duty.
• Support the school community until the end of the academic year (31st August 2026).

Please read the Person Specifications carefully and make reference to them in your applications. Previous TA experience is not essential; training can be provided. A good general level of education and personal qualities are as important as experience.
