SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Sparkbrook. This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting children with additional needs and who is open to providing personal care where required.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and wellbeing where required
• Support learning activities in and out of the classroom
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a similar relevant qualification
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• Willingness and confidence to support personal care
• Patient, compassionate, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
