Lift Plumberow is looking for a PE Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical activity and supporting children’s development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and positive individual who can contribute to our warm and inclusive school community while helping pupils develop confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity.

Lift Plumberow is a vibrant and high-achieving three-form entry primary school in the heart of Hockley, educating around 650 pupils from Reception to Year 6. We are committed to giving every child the best possible start through engaging teaching and a broad, balanced curriculum that promotes curiosity and active learning.

• Support the delivery of PE lessons, sports activities and enrichment opportunities.
• Encourage pupils’ participation, confidence and teamwork through positive sporting experiences.
• Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour and inclusion.
• Support pupils with SEND or additional needs to access physical activities successfully.
• Help organise and support sporting events, clubs, tournaments and competitions.
• Promote positive relationships and consistently apply the school’s behaviour policy.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Assist with the safe use and organisation of PE and sports equipment.
