Key Responsibilities Train & Coach Deliver practical bricklaying training, coaching, and underpinning knowledge. Run classroom-style workshops, one-to-one tutorials, and student reviews. Support lecturers by setting up and assisting with vocational learning activities. Safety & Workshop Mastery Supervise student practical work to ensure strict Health & Safety compliance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bricklaying workshop environment. Keep up to date with essential safety regulations (like COSHH) and act as a First Aider.
Gear & Inventory Control Check, maintain, and perform minor repairs on specialist tools and equipment. Manage workshop stock levels and maintain accurate material inventories. Ensure all equipment and building materials are safely cleaned and stored away. College Support Assess student competence against pre-determined industry criteria. Supervise learners during exams, site visits, and practical tests. Assist with exciting college enrolment events and open evenings.
