An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative company operating at the forefront of space technology. Working as part of a highly skilled mechanical engineering team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge space applications and systems.

You will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical assemblies and ground support/test equipment used in space environments. This is a hands-on engineering role involving the full product lifecycle, from concept through to validation.

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies for space applications
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Work with a variety of components and materials suited for space environments
• Perform structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS
• Support and participate in design reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics and systems engineers
• Contribute to testing and validation activities, including ground test equipment

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in 3D CAD (e.g. Solid Works or similar)
• Strong understanding of structural and thermal analysis (ANSYS preferred)
• Experience designing mechanical systems or assemblies
• Ability to work within a collaborative engineering team
