IoT Electronic Design Engineer (Solely R&D) Dundee - Hybrid £75,000 - £85,000  Training  Progression  Company Benefits Are you an Electronics Design Engineer that wants to work in a senior team of highly skilled engineers and developers that are truly R&D focussed, working collaboratively to solve some of the industry's most technical challenges? This company offers a truly R&D focused environment were you will be tasked with designing the latest wearables, IoT devices, access control and the next generation of metering systems. This role is focussed on R&D for their latest product suite and future products due to be released for new industries like health & leisure, wearables & telecoms. This business has gone from strength to strength over the last decade and is quickly becoming one of Scotland's leading names in the Smart Energy sector that are tier one suppliers for the likes of EDF, Npower and David Lloyds.

The ideal candidate will be someone that genuinely enjoys R&D projects, have experience in Altium for PCB design and be happy to manage the verification and validation for product releases.

THE ROLE:

Work collaboratively to define the product development life cycle Use Altium for PCB design and layouts Test and debug designs Work both in a team and autonomously to build theoretical models THE PERSON:
Have experience writing code in PCB Design

Experience with Altium Be able to commute to Dundee on occasion or work remotely Reference: BBBH
