To strengthen our finance team KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant in Dundee.
This role will support the Financial Controller in the accurate processing, reconciliation and maintenance of financial records. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting documentation helping to ensure financial data is complete, accurate and compliant with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, support and provide guidance to a team of Accounts Assistants
- Participate in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year‑end reporting packages
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
- Prepare and provide financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare reconciliations and perform detailed analysis of financial data
- Assist with the control and reporting of Debtors and Stock
- Code and process supplier invoices and oversee payments
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, Intrastat reporting and statutory/statistical reports
- Review and process employee expenses ensuring compliance with company policies
- Carry out administrative duties relating to procedures, contracts and policy documentation
- Act as Concur system administrator and training provider
- Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and VAT
- Experience supervising or supporting junior finance staff
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel
- Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems is an advantage
Location: Dundee (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Contract: FTC 12-month maternity cover
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week Monday-Friday)
Salary: 40000 to 48000
