Finance Business Partner

We are delighted to be working exclusively with this brilliant charitable organisation to help them find an experienced accountant to join as their new part time Finance Business Partner on an initial 6-month contract.

Reporting into a supportive Finance Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a conscientious and talented finance professional to join a busy and collaborative finance team, playing a key role in management accounts and business partnering across multiple cost centres.

The job

• Support across various cost centres, including dealing with queries, producing management accounts and assisting with budget setting
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Carry out month end duties including, but not limited to, prepayments and accruals, income reconciliations and posting stock adjustments
• Ensure quarterly updates of the fixed asset register and posting of depreciation journals
• Produce month end and flash reports Maintain accurate records and reporting for grant funding received
• Support junior members of the team with queries and guidance
• Work on own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team

• Ideally AAT qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong month end skills including complex reconciliations
• Demonstrable finance systems experience
• Strong team player with a results driven approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management skills and ability to follow instructions
• Strong administration skills with a methodical approach and attention to detail
• Excellent ICT skills
• Experience recording accounting transactions and maintaining financial records
• Experience of bank and project reconciliations

• Salary up to £50,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience
